The name was inspired by the Bell Rock Lighthouse on the east Coast of Scotland, the world’s oldest sea washed lighthouse. It was built in 1811, 11 miles out at sea on a rock that was submerged by up to 16 feet of water for most of the day. It is both a marvel of engineering and a perfect example of succeeding in challenging circumstances and creating something of value to many.
Meet Lara
Lara Isbel has run her own business as an executive coach and facilitator since 2018, after a career of over 10 years holding senior roles in higher education, including as Assistant Director of the Institute for Academic Development in the University of Edinburgh. Lara completed Entrepreneurial Scotland’s Saltire Fellowship, six month entrepreneurial executive leadership programme in 2018.
In addition to running her own business, Lara is also an Associate with MY Consultants, an education sector training and organisational development consultancy that supports individuals and teams in harnessing the knowledge and skills they need to enable them to deliver meaningful improvements in the workplace.
